On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

David Boreanaz is an Angel for animals. And he's wearing the claddagh ring, too. Strangely, this was a link proffered me by Opera. I'm a sucker, and they can tell.

Go, job leaving!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Let's just hope if I go through with this that there's another job and some health benefits on the other side.

You and me both, mang.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I have never had a crush on that man...until now.

Am totally going to print that out for Linz, who has such a big crush she tourtured numerous word in horrible ways to make them fit into a "David Boreanaz" filk of "David Duchovny"

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope you find something great, Kristin.

I do still love the Boreanaz.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Kristin,

I just left my job of 8 1/2 years last summer. It was difficult in a lot of ways but it was the right move for me.

I wish you the best during your transition!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I haven't worked full time since last July -- I got laid off, took the summer off, and went back to school full-time. It's a two-year program, so I've got time, but it's a little terrifying watching the debt pile up.

It is so very scary. In many ways this is the worst possible time for me to leave (money has gotten a LOT tighter this past month), but I just feel like it's time. I haven't committed to it yet. I have until the end of March to make a final decision.
