You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Clearly a man who's never seen the Princess Bride:

Jeremy Shapiro, a national security expert at the Brookings Institute, says the idea that the President has signed off on a June directive to bombard Iranian targets is "inconceivable."

Iran is in Asia, too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

At least I'm spared outrage over the semantic debate of the first commandment by having worshipped an actual graven idol at a Cthulhu for President rally.

Oh, that reminds me! I did worship a graven idol. There was this restaurant that had a giant fiberglass steer on the roof - some friends and I drove out to it, got out of the car, got on our knees, bowed down and worshiped it.

I wanted to come back and do it again, this time with a bunch of people in robes, but that never happened.

Video game fans and Chicagoistas!

Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry is the latest to join the $10 billion video game bandwagon. On March 4, the venerable institution, which logged more than 1.3 million visitors last year, will launch "Game On," an exhibit that looks at the culture and technology of gaming from the colossal computers of the 1960s to today's home consoles.

Visitors can play more than 125 games (the exhibit includes no Mature-rated games; small kids will be present), as well as view exhibits on sound and music; how gaming differs in the United States, Europe and Japan, and video games' influence on movies, TV, sports and more. Chicago's role in the industry also will be highlighted, with looks at "Pac-Man" publisher Midway and Incredible Technologies' "Golden Tee Live 2005."

I want to know if they'll have the original Space Invaders available to play, as well as Centipede (with the roller ball) and maybe even Q-bert--those were my favorite arcade games to play at the mall.

We can go worship the giant silver bean if you want.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I think the bean is closed for repairs.
