My friend who works as a public defender gets a lot of inappropriate comments when she goes down to the jail. She found it utterly hysterical when one inmate tried to be nicer than the norm there and hoped she had a beautiful baby. Her response "I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat" caused quite a stir, even from the asshats who had made rude comments about her size in the past. Somehow it was ok for them to call her fat, but for her to do so?
It was weird.
People are largely stupid, I think.
On that cheery note, my taxes are ready for the mailbox and I am NOT GOING TO WORK TOMORROW.
