If I only had a brain...

"Try this for a deep dark secret:

That was in my list of examples. It's the only one I can recite word-perfect from memory. Siiiiigh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

How about the Rockford Files answering machine?

Art Crawl!!!

I'm pretty sure there is an opening monologue on Alias -- or there used to be.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think Sci-Fi's Invisible Man had a voiceover, but I can't find it.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

This one was more than likely cribbed from the radio series, but:

A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi Yo Silver!" The Lone Ranger. ["Hi Yo Silver, away!"] With his faithful Indian companion Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early west. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. The Lone Ranger rides again!

hip deep in pie

This is the story of two sisters, Jessica Tate and Mary Campbell. These are the Tates, and these are the Campbells. And this is SOAP.

There was also a voiceover recap of the story so far.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Damn, I don't want to go to class tonight. And then I see that one of the major subway lines is all fucked up -- not one I have to take, but I do sometimes. So I'm thinking I should just leave now, so I'm not traveling during rush hour, and do some reading down there at school. But that would involve getting dressed. Hmph.

Thank you. I am now humming the Soap theme song.

You should go now, because I'm about to leave the house and lock myself in the library and study for my midterm tonight. We'll be virtuous together.
