Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

He's advanced. And he has a GIGANTIC head.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

There's no breakfast in Heaven after 11.

Father Guido lies. It can't really be Heaven if it doesn't have BREAKFAST SERVED ALL DAY.

Allyson, your nephew is clearly a genius. When he graciously accepts his first Pulitzer, National Book Award or Nobel, he'd better remember to graciously thank his Aunt Allyson who got him started with all those kick-ass children's books.

I am actually enjoying my overtime chained-to-the-desk evening -- typing away from dictations that are not grammatically offensive, with a small glass of wine at my elbow (left over from a swanky meeting across the hall) and an officemate with a big jar of caramel Kisses on her desk. At time and a half overtime, it's blissfully civilized.

TAR: I can't believe that they're doing a vomity Roadblock again. The roadblock from last week was so great. But I think that Rob's plan was great. He gets to avoid vomiting and still has managed to assure that his team won't start for the next thing in last place.

Cash, you are weird. But that's ok.

TAR: While what I like most about the show is the challenges and the scenery and the non-scheming beyond outracing, I'm really impressed by the strategizing of Rob and Ambuh. It's quite clever. Not sure if I like the overt-mental-games mercenariness...but.....good game. Just prefer the softer side, I guess.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

TAR: When Rob first started talking about quitting I was kind of bummed. But when he was able to rope others in, after the next team had come so there wasn't even a footrace, damn, you just have to give the guy credit. Even Phil couldn't do anything but grin.

I kind of wanted the two women to beat the mom and son, even though I don't really like them much either. But after that "I'm 15 and you can't tell me what to do" tantrum (he's older, I know, but still)? Whatever. They'll knock themselves out soon enough.

Liked the gay boys a bit better this time round, once they started racing and stopped focusing entirely on R and A. I swear, the more the other teams bitch the more I want them to win the whole thing.

Sorry to interrupt the deluge of whitefont ("the White Deluge"), but I have a tax question. I made about $250 from a freelance job, which is apparently too little for a 1099. Do I need to report it anyway?

I would report it, Emily.

Em, you're supposed to. A lot of people don't, if they don't get one.
