I like those, ita. I wonder if I should trash my media center and get a complete set.

Jesse, we have such good and bigger-than-just-us reasons for getting married. We deserve it. Why isn't it happening?
Lee! You have to take your VCR. I know you have a TiVo and a DVD player, but it would be like ... forgetting your underwear or something.
We deserve it. Why isn't it happening?
All we're trying to do is fight the power! Make change from within the institution! And yet. Thwarted at every turn.
Lack of The Man is keeping us down!
I don't really want to get married. But I would like the dress.
Lee, leave the VCR. When is the last time you used it? Plus, if you needed one in a pinch they are cheap cheap cheap.....
Theoretically, the dress is the easy part. It's the excuse that's hard. Plus the leeway to have the implicit understanding of "No, fuck it. Look at my DRESS." for an afternoon.
The ensuing companionship and stuff does freak me out a bit.
There used to be this rhyme in a folklore book that was in my parents' house:
Married in yellow, ashamed of the fellow. Married in Blue, your lover is true. Married in Black, you'll ride in a hack.
I can't remember what green is.
ETA: Google to the rescue:
Married in white, you have chosen aright;
Married in red, you'd better be dead;
Married in yellow, ashamed of the fellow;
Married in blue, your lover is true;
Married in green, ashamed to be seen;
Married in black, you'll ride in a hack;
Married in pearl, you'll live in a whirl;
Married in pink, your spirits will sink;
Married in brown, you'll live out of town.
I don't really want to get married. But I would like the dress.
So go out a buy a dress. It's a lot easier than being married, I can tell you that much, Erin.
I was talking to DH today and I realized we've only been married 4 years. Waaay too much has happened in those 4 years. And hey, thank goodness he's been with me during all of it, but still.... I think I've really pushed my luck with the whole "in sickness and in health" clause.
Married in Blue, your lover is true.
Aww, my mom was married in blue! Yay.
