Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

People are so ill! And I'm not even sure I just mean the guy who made the site. More the ones who donated it.

I wonder if I can get $2900 to prevent me from eating a chocolate bar.

Trust my rage

Nobody looked at the save toby site?

I wish I hadn't. I hate animal cruelty. I hope it's not real, but to know it's not real, I'd have to do more investigation into something that already made me upset.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that site is fucked up. All the way around.

I'm getting the pig!

I hate animal cruelty.

I love animals as much as the next person but I'm confused as to how this qualifies as animal cruelty. People eat animals every single day. Some people eat rabbit.

I would consider this to be more of a case of human cruelty.

I have nothing against eating rabbits, even rabbits you've named. But it seems other people care, and taunting them is kinda mean.

However, donating money to some guy who claims he's going to eat meat unless you make him rich? Beyond dumb. His hamburger may not have a name (although his baloney might), so are they gonna just keep paying him so he becomes a vegetarian?

Oh, thank god. No humans were harmed in the making of that site.

But I really do feel a craving for meat now.

I guess it just feels like cruelty to me - killing a baby rabbit unless people give you money. I see your point that people eat rabbits every day, but somehow this is different to me.

It's possible I need to draw a brighter line between people and animals, but I've never been very good at it.

ETA: I'm slow at typing, but I'm taking Sue's word for it and feeling much relieved.

What is even happening?

I assumed the guy wasn't going to kill the bunny. But is it wrong that I was kind of enjoying the fact that people sent money, because it would be just so dumb?

I mean, people gave to that save karen site, for real.

Not looking at the site because dialup. But I think once you designate it as pet, you cross a line if you eat it. Barring imminent starvation, of course. Naming!= pet. My mom used to name the chickens on the farm so she could laugh in even more evil delight when she ate them (the chickens hated her and pecked her every chance.Trauma.)
