The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All your hec and jz are belong to me. We are hanging out, drinking coffee and importing music and showering, and soon we will be heading out for crepes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have achieved breakfast! It has also stopped snowing, which means I can go to the hardware store and get latex gloves to dye my hair. And we called the furniture store, who said we will definitely get our dresser today/tonight.

Life is gooooooooood.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I swear to god, it's been sunny in Queens all morning.

It was sunny when I woke up too, but there's about an inch of snow on the ground that wasn't there last night.

Now tagless for your comfort.

What's a snow squall?

A brief, intense fall of snow of a showery nature, usually accompanied by gusty surface winds.

Makes for shitty visability and immediately slick roads. It usually takes people by surprise and lots of people wind up in ditches.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from taking the cat to the vet. Other than losing a bit of weight, she's in good health. She seems to have forgiven me for the vet trip already.

Huh. Meanwhile, it's pouring rain in Boston, from what I hear.

What is even happening?

It's snowing like bastard, 10 miles north.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This was the word from my nearly-blind grandmother, so take it with a grain of salt, perhaps.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I figured out (from some very nice illustrations) how to do a double cast-on with yarn! Go team me!

I've also embarked on a project to crochet plastic grocery bags into a useful front door mat. Ph3ar mi Krapht skillz!
