Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm all excited because I'm home in time to see the TLC Friday night shows the first time around, so I don't have to stay up til 2 am. Phew!

You dodged that bullet, Jesse!

Er, or something like that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now tomorrow I can get up bright and early to study. Yay fun. I will also put CDs onto my computer. It's kind of occured to me that it would be like launch.com, except slightly less random.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Drive to the mountains with sister, niece, and niece's friend, ski two days, come home exhausted and broke with no clean clothing for next week.

There may be beer in there. And sunburn, if the weather holds.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's not supposed to do that this time of year!

Yes it is.

March, people.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Argh!

So, there's been a train de-railment, which is bad bad bad, and I hope everyone on the train is okay.

My 10AM train for tomorrow morning? Is now a 1:45 train tomorrow afternoon.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

What are people's weekend plans?

If my Stage Beauty dvd comes tomorrow that'll eat up a decent amount of the weekend. Otherwise, it's supposed to be a snow-rain mix tomorrow morning, so I'm thinking that snuggling under a fleecy blanket while reading Emma Bull's Finder for my book group and then getting online for more job hunting will fill the majority of my weekend.

I've sent out resumes/cover letters/applications to about 15 places in the past two weeks, and I've only gotten one definitive "nope" so far. On the other hand, I've gotten a couple of requests for further info, which is always heartening. One of the possible jobs is in Spokane, WA. Any PNW folks know anything about Spokane? Is it nifty and fun? Drab and dull? A never ending round of puppies and coffee-flavored ice-cream?

But thank jebus I'm home and this craptastic week is at an end. It ain't much, but I'll take it.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

La la la. I am at work because it is much more preferable to be here than it is to be working on my sculpture in ceramics. I hate my sculpture. It is supposed to look like the student as a famous person or character or something. I'm doing myself as Queen Elizabeth, but I'm using a picture from when she was a young princess, since I didn't feel like making the ruff (sp?). It sucks. Well, it actually looks pretty awesome from just below the breasts to the top of the neck. After that it sucks. Stupid ceramic face.

I just made myself cranky again, thinking about it. Now I want a nap.

At least I get to go to dance class in an hour and ten minutes.
