Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It snowed here yesterday, which turned to rain, which then froze. Icey sidewalks and I tend to not get along well, so I was unhappy. But the sun seems to have melted most of the ice.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Random thought of the day: My weekend to do list is very long and varied. It does not include doing any work, but it does include buying a pony.

Coding and Sleeping

I clearly did not play enough Operation as a child.

We have a version of Operation that is a T-Rex dig. It's hard.

63%, Solid on muscles.

T-Rex dig Operation sounds awesome!

Get me a pony while you're at it, Lee. Since you're already getting one.

Ex-Marine Says Public Version of Saddam Capture Fiction

According to his version, a marine was killed during the capture, Saddam was not captured in an underground hole, and he fought back first (by firing on the marines).

On the one hand the spider hole story never smelled exactly right to me. On the other, neither does this. I'm pretty sure that severe spin of some sort was put on the Saddam capture. I'm wondering if this could be some sort of Rovian plant (a la rathergate) with iffy evidence for something that really happened. Then when the false evidence is discredited, the subject is taken off the table.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got 100% on muscles, 60 something on bones, 57 on nervous system, and just blew my organ score on the freaking appendix. I know where it is, but the rotation? Still have no clue, and I got it right.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

In LJ, I know you can set up different reading filters, and have done so. Is there any way to make one of them the default friends' view? Right now, every time I select the filter, read my fl, leave and come back, the fl seems to default to the whole fl. I would like to make the filter my default.

Call one of the freinds views "default."

What is even happening?

DX, where? That's what I can't figure out.

It's snowing here again. Yee. Ha. Meh.

Oh yeah. It started around 12:15, just as we were leaving the house. tommyrot, we had your rain, ice, snow weather earlier in the week. I'm sick to death of it. I know I'm probably making the people in the snowbelt laugh, but I'm pretty sure this is our snowiest winter on record.
