Sort of ironic, because we've had nothing but rain here so far, which has pretty much melted all the old snow.
Yeah, here too. I guess they think the snow will hit us before the elementary kids would be getting home, so they aren't taking any chances. On the up-side, it does give me a conveniant out for the fact I hadn't finished giving writing feedback on my creative writing students' drafts I was supposed to hand back today.
I'm happy to. Give me six weeks or so.
Jesse is
so mean.
That's her speciality. MEANNESS!
I am not mean. I just try not to promise what I can't deliver. What I am is taking a break, after doing nearly a FULL HOUR of work. Phew! Am also thinking about lunch.
snow here.
possibly best lunch ever - chicken nuggats with ranch dressing, tator tots, tapioca pudding.
Ooh, that does sound good. I was all excited to make chicken souvlaki at home, but the only chicken I had in the freezer was a whole breast, and it's not thawed yet. I like it better when I cut up the chix BEFORE freezing it, der.
So maybe pizza.
I am not mean. I just try not to promise what I can't deliver.
Practical...mean...whatever.
ugh. must go out into the snow to achieve sustenance. it seems to have calmed down a bit, so off i go.
Hating msbelle now. My lunch will not live up to the standard she's set.
And looking out the window makes me think no to pizza, yes to food in the fridge. Stupid weather. It was so nice yesterday!!
I just had some homemade pot roast for lunch. It was slow cooked for about a day in red wine and spices. Very yummy on a chilly March day.
I forget. Is this part of our new dedication to repairing our craptastic relations with the rest of the world?
John Bolton, President Bush's pick to be the US ambassador to the United Nations, once said it wouldn't matter if 10 stories of the world body's 38-story headquarters simply vanished.
Also, surgery-ma to the Big Dog. Clinton's going in for some more repair work, apparently.
