Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just wanted to share that you can order cookies directly if you do not have a source 1-800 33-MINTS!

Damn you, msbelle! DAAAAAAMN YOOOOUUUUU!

I am currently the only person outside the Dean's office, so people keep talking to me, but I don't know anything! Oops.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I got my sister one of those s'more kits for her birthday a couple years ago. But since I wasn't thinking ahead, she ended up having to carry it around all day while we went to brunch and the movies. People EVERYWHERE were commenting on what a cool gift it was. (Of course, I don't think she's ever used it, but hey.)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I was surprised it would flare up, even though I didn't let the marshmallow touch the burner, and there's no actual flame.

The main reason Pete has to either be distracted or not in the house when I try this is that I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a flaming marshmallow onna stick, and Pete knows that my instinctual reaction, when holding anything flaming onna stick, is to spin around and go "Wheeeeee!"

I'm almost completely certain I wouldn't do that inside the house. Pete, however, has his doubts.

The status is NOT quo.

Perez Prado? LOVE!

Yes! I love too, but the constant mental replay is getting to me.

Jilli, I also seem to have that reaction to fire and flames.

Plus, I keep humming it out loud, which appears to be getting to those around me.

What is even happening?

By any chance, have either of you had at least one ancestor die of pneumonia contracted while watching a ginormous fire? *cough* I'm just asking randomly, of course. *cough*

I don't think so, but I'll ask the parents the next time I talk to them.
