Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

What is even happening?

Did we run out of monkey crack?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I saw the first use of "Bored Now" in Buffy on Saturday! It was fun!

My Mom has started using this phrase, thanks to her own Buffy-watching. It makes me laugh every single time she says it, b/c it's so incongruous.

Did we run out of monkey crack?

The monkey crack is ever plentiful. But sometimes people stop smoking the monkey crack to nibble on lead-based paint. Doesn't everyone like a little variety in their WTF?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Not only has RPS been requested, but people are repeatedly asking for Battlestar Galactica. I think fandom has been eating paint chips.

Clearly, once your number of fandoms passes 15, people just assume you write everything! By default!

You write Sting/Stewart Copeland slash, right?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You write Sting/Stewart Copeland slash, right?

Don't stand, don't stand, don't stand so close to me...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You write Sting/Stewart Copeland slash, right?

Don't stand, don't stand, don't stand so close to me...

You don't have to sell your body to the night....

No way Police slash is wronger than ex-Presidents slash.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why don't you just split the difference and slash Clinton with Sting?

Up with the sun

Why don't you just split the difference and slash Clinton with Sting?

If the story was set in 1977 or so, I would so totally read that.

(What? They were hot then! Stop looking at me that way!)
