Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know you have some strong issues with what foods you can enjoy

On a board with Alibelle, I think I hardly peg the issue meter.

Also -- not telling you how to cook lamb. I grew up in a hypertension-research household. When I dump the fat, I really dump the fat.

Though, now that I think about it, I'd also be tossing the lamb, because I don't like that either.

Very low cal meal, when all is said and done.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, thanks for the reminder, sumi. Yay for Kirk Acevedo.

It's possibly just 20/20 hindsight, but man, Jerry Orbach does not look good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In his final days, actor Jerry Orbach refused to let cancer stop him from portraying detective Lennie Briscoe on Law & Order: Trial by Jury, the show's executive producer said....

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Can anyone justify paying MSRP for a new Honda Odyssey?

Cashmere, have you tried www.edmonds.com? They do price estimates specific to zip codes, and are a good place to start when it comes to bargaining prep.

Always Anti-fascist!

God, I love that. So. damned. Admirable. Of course, if I were his daughter, I might have wanted him to go to the beach or something, but, damn. From here, I'm deeply impressed. Of course, I never get to kvetch again, but hey. ETA: Also, slightly eerie in view of an interview where he said he would leave L&O "in a pine box."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's possibly just 20/20 hindsight, but man, Jerry Orbach does not look good.

I was just coming here to say that. God.

Hee. He just gave a plug to Tivo.

Now tagless for your comfort.

They came up on a google. I'll give it a try.

Beautiful! I bet the house fire seasoned it nicely.

You know it.

OK, this might be a little over-the-top, comparison-wise, but: Leaving aside his actual positions, I've long been impressed with the Pope for not stepping down, and showing that just because you're old and sick doesn't make you useless. It's not like much of his job is physical in anyway, so good for him for sticking it out.
