I can't even.

Estrella was rainy, huh?

Emily, only in the morning, and at night, with scattered afternoon showers that were more constant than scattered, really. The desert isn't good at wet, it doesn't train for it (but I knew this). Fun was had anyway because I got to spend time with great people I only see rarely, and if the fighting got rearranged and messed around because of the pools of standing (or accumulating) water, there was still lots of it. I'm glad I went. My cold is back though, evil cold of evilness.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I don't think anyone currently in high school is enamored enough of the 80s

For battle of the classes our theme was the 80s. We had giant posters, and a dance-- not like this, like a choreographed one on a stage, and a whole bunch of things. And I think that theme was only five years ago, and since then, there has been more of an 80s comeback, especially with all the VH1 I LOVE THE 80s things. So, I believe it.

Also, I love Veronica Mars. I want her to be my BFF.

Our wings are not tired.

May I offer hot cocoa Theo?

Overnight skim..

Don’t watch VM, SVU, or GG, but happy to see happy fans. The not watching of these shows makes for a quick skim on Wednesday mornings. The boys had a basketball game so no tv for me.

Area codes 305, 757, 804, 412, 215, 941, 305, 954, 407, 561, although a couple of them were changed right under my feet.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So not ready to wake up today. I've got to get a handle on this sleep thing - I'm waking up at least twice every night, and not feeling rested at all in the morning. Plus, I sweat like a mad thing while I'm sleeping. No idea where that came from.

Area codes: 212; 414; 416; 514; 404; 202; 312

Gronklies, Theo.

How is your father coming along, brenda?

Laura, the rest of your birthday was nice, I hope? Did you apply some wine to that shoulder? I saw your quote of your ex's note to you. Hee!

Swouncing

Poking head while crossing fingers that the network here holds for at least enough time to post this post:

So, again, the mostly-deadness of the network here (accompanied today by both an electricity break and a pipe exploding on the roof on top of my apartment), made me miss the birthday of a very wonderful Buffista indeed. According to the Buffista Calendar yesterday (the 22nd) was Laura's birthday. So, Laura, happy second-day-of-your-new-age! With lots of wishes for a wonderful year.

Also, if I'm able to post now, I'll be able to congratulate Lysana on time, since today is her birthday. Happy birthday!

And, um, timelies. Or something. I'm not sur eI even remember how to do this "posting" thing properly anymore, it's been so long since I've actually done it properly.

[Edit: excellent, it posted! It's so easy now, and was so completely impossible yesterday - crazy technology. And at least it seems like the birthday was not overlooked upon, so I'm glad my absence didn't reduce the amount of Laura's wishes by too much]

Much better, thanks. There was a worrisome couple of days when he seemed to be having a lot of disorientation and aphasia (guess where I know that word from, Theo), but he seems to be on the mend. Considering that he's pretty much the poster child for Bad Surgical Risk, we're all pretty relieved.

Plus I got a new tv out of the deal, so hey.

Happy Laura [yester]Day!
