"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

A possibility....

I'm feeling like my time is coming to an end, like this is no good.

There was a car chase here. Do those EVER end well for the runner?

Heather, that column is so depressing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Who wants to move to San Carlos with me? [link] I'd only need two or three other people, so we'd have plenty of room.

Kat, how about Wednesday for HoP?

OH! Laurel Canyon was closed again. There are more houses sliding. On your side of the hill, Lee. Over by Mt. Olympus.

Meep.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yes, it's just awful, Kat.

Who wants to move to San Carlos with me?

Hee. Earlier when you were linking to apartments, I kept wanting to post, "When I come to California, can I stay with you?"

Meep. That sucks.

What about Tuesday, Kat.

Anytime, Heather.

Oh I forgot to say I'd be Owen Jewella. (At first I thought it was Mustard Jewella, but the cat came after the cocker).

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

masquerading as a news report on the governor's proposal to roll back labor regulations that require employers to give their employees half-hour lunch breaks within the first five hours of their shifts.

Well, it depends on the proposal, but I work 12-hour shifts and I prefer to take my lunch seven hours in, so this rule would be annoying to me.

The "masquerading as a news report" is worse because after the Armstrong Williams thing our government appears to be getting into the business of paid propaganda, instead of leaving it to the think tanks.

I looked through all the Oscar coverage for a photo of Beyonce's silver dress, but I only saw verbal description. Point me to a site I can browse by celebrity?
