good lord. Not only does no one RSVP, I just discovered that an invitation for an event I knew nothing about was sent out at the same time as my invitations. The people I am calling are confused as to which event I am calling about. Nice communication people.

oh, and in how to feel like a heel news. I was trying to set up a meeting with someone to talk career stuff. I don't know the person, I was referred to them by one of their co-workers and they emailed me 2 weeks ago. They are out of the office with a terminally ill family member, and wished me luck finding someone else to talk to.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But it certainly doesn't look like the skirt ended like I thought. It's just side panels, it seems.

I'm so sad. Must go look for more pics.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The E Online people are just wrong. I don't think I've seen her look more sophisticated and stunning. She didn't pull a RZ and go completely one color dark. She went for a deep chocolaty with high and lowlights that did wonders for her eyes. And while that style in black may be boring on some people I think it was enough of a departure for her that it wasn't.

Feh. EOnline people.

Eh, no need to feel like a heel. You didn't know. I've had similar stuff happen.

11 minutes.

And I FINALLY managed to reorder checks. What a circus.

Great use of my workday, huh?

Art Crawl!!!

I didn't even realize it was side panels -- I thought it was really long slits up the side.

I didn't see anything until she walked across the stage.

ita - what you said about Jack and Bobby - I thought that there was some attempt by Grace to not have him be her advisee but then they changed their mind. She should definitely have suggested that he take his thesis elsewhere once they'd really started their relationship and also, discussed the possible ramifications for him when he didn't. She's really not much of an advisor, is she ?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Heather, you may Feh upon me, also. I think her hair, like RZ's is too dark, as is her lipstick and gown. It was too overwhelmingly dark all together. Maybe if she had gone the dark route with just her hair, or just her dress -- but not both. IMO.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think I've seen her look more sophisticated and stunning.

ITA -- she looked absolutely gorgeous.

yeah I guess.

my day - 4 things for work, 6 things for me, many many things online.

now I am going home. I bet that tomorrow I get to call and email people telling them the event they never responded about is cancelled.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think that Drew looked dramatic (maybe a bit too so) where RZ looked drained. But I'm still reeling from misreading her dress, so I can't be trusted.

The E Online people liked Charlize's ruffles, so they're totally on crack.

Sumi -- there was a token attempt, long ago, now that you mention it. But if you're going to get in trouble because you're sleeping with your advisee, either you suck up getting punished, stop sleeping with him, or STOP HIM FROM BEING YOUR ADVISEE. It doesn't seem that tricky.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just found out (maybe I'm behind on the news--no surprise if I am) that at the end of May, NewsRadio is coming out on DVD, and it'll be both Seasons One and Two boxed together, with tons of extras, and only $40 (Amazon has it for $10 off)!!
