I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

That is tempting, Alibelle, but I need to see how work goes. Can I call you tomorrow?

Yup! And if my phone is off, just leave a voice mail. I'll definitely check it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Will do, Alibelle.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Fun watch and post. Rio's JF hatred was bracing.

I did a double take on The Pornbroker and decided I'd like that better.

Did you see Annette's face when Hillary won? Her insides all crashed like broken glass.

Guh - it was pretty boring. Hated the super innovative staging. I just want pretty couples coming out that I've never seen together before! Don't they know that's half the fun of doing the Oscars? "Dude, we could have Prince come out with Salma Hayek! All the cameras would melt from their hottitude!" "We are totally doing that one!"

Loved Jorge's song acceptance. Chris Rock was "Eh" - the only thing I loved was the bit a the Magic Johnson Theater. "I loved White Chicks!" "Did you see Sideways?" "Noooooo."

I liked the mermaid dresses and the non-taupe of it all. Hate taupe.

Buffy Related News: Seth Green's new animated show on Adult Swim, Robot Chicken, had SMG as special guest star. I think her entire contribution was coming in and saying, in a little girl's voice, "I'm going to marry Seth Green when I grow up" while drawng a cartoon heart. (They had a callback to it later in the show, but that's the part that's notable for this board.) Kind of nice to know she's taking his calls and would do him a favor, since she never seemed particularly buddy buddy with the cast in later years.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, my! I missed all the fun by going to bed early. Thank goodness I had 512 posts to catch up on all the important stuff when I woke up!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Timelies!

We may get a foot of snow tonight. I am so over snow you wouldn't believe it. The fluffy white magic has all gone away for me. sobs

What is even happening?

The funniest thing about catching up with award show watch & posts? Posts like this: ita "Natter 33 1/3" Feb 27, 2005 7:13:20 pm PST? Almost completely nonsensical, but not entirely. The no-boobies link still takes you to the same photo (or at least one that fits the description), but unless Spike Lee was wearing ruffles I can't see, and recently underwent gender reassignment surgery, unless Scarlett Johansson is a boy, and unless Beyonce has become a doppleganger for Renee, it's pretty dada.

There were something like 533 posts between the last time I loaded the board last night, and this morning. It was a busy night, huh?

What was the what with Sean Penn? I fell asleep, and the comments are intriguing, but not revealy enough.

That's nice to know about SMG, Hec. I think I've read Green make a couple of very nice comments about her, before. I try not to let myself buy into Buffy set back-stabbing. Except for ASH, they were all of a particular age, and they worked long hours for a lot of years--the years that were going to make or break their careers.

move out and draw fire

Timelies! I'll take your snow, Theodosia, and trade you my overcast, half-rain, half-wind.

So, guess the Oscars were on, huh?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

We're supposed to get something like 10 inches of snow here today, but so far, nothing.

Same here, Hil. Now off to work. Also, excited to see vw's paper up in Press - can't wait to read tonight, and congrats on completion!
