Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey! Where's the post?

Sorry. I realized it sounded cattier than I'd wanted, but I couldn't figure out if it was just me or if it actually was, and then I couldn't figure out how to make it less know-it-all-ish, and then I decided that since I woke up five minutes ago I really shouldn't be trying to communicate with actual people until I get some food and caffeine, so I deleted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it sounded regular, but understand the re-reading "Oh dear" reaction.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

it's also under a mile from SFO, which might not be good.

It might be OK, depending on whether it's near the SFO traffic patterns.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Burlingame is nice, Lee. My Aunt and Uncle have a house up on the hill there.

It's not bad to work because you can usually take the back way, not the 101 but the 280? and then take Sand Hill.

We had some people who commuted from Burlingame to Mountain View without issue.

Though I would say that Burlingame is as about as far north as I'd like to commute. Unless I did the train. Then live in the city and train down.

ita, surfas is the best. I can't believe you've never been.

That site is oddly mesmerising. Also, if you put your mouse pointer over a plane you can tell how high it is.

I can't get info on dutch process cocoa, though I am almost sure I've bought it at surfas before. When doing brownie mixes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think I will definitely add Burlingame to the list of places to look, Kat.

I've never been to Surfas either.

I can't believe you've never been to surfas, ita and Lee! It's SHOCKING.

ita, The Valrhona doesn't say dutch process on the container, but it is when you look at the ingredients because it has the alkali.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Surfas is SO COOL. Once ita goes, she'll be there every week from now on buying cool baking stuff. I'm not going to mention Lee, because of the whole "moving away and so can never go back there again even though she will love it" factor.
