The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, I bought the suitcases.

And a sweater.

And a dress.

Somebody stop me?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, I love the train. Only reason while touring Morocco that we made it to the capital was because we heard it had a good train.

It's still a viable option in Canada too, economically. It was how we used to get from Montreal to New York.

I have an ER question. Why can't it just jump the shark properly, jump it in a way that doesn't leave me with two or three ships to root for, plus favourite characters? Damn them.

eta: All from Overstock, Lee?

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

But it's not nearly fun.

I'm assuming you mean as fun. In which case, I don't know. I took the train from London to Paris, and it was nifty. But it took several hours, and was crazy expensive, and it just wasn't $400 worth of cool. The planes were much quicker, much cheaper, and could be funnier if you had orange flight attendants trying to sell you J. Lo's "Glow." So, as trade offs go, I'm glad I got the train experience, but I'll probably pick flying over it in the future.

Yep, ita. I may return the clothes, since they are things that may look good on me, or may just be gross.

This, [link] , in the pink, and this [link] from which I would quickly lose the pin.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I don't know how many normal people commute by train to LA for work.

I know several people who work at USC who take the train, actually. There used to be one more, but he passed away late last year. It still makes me sad to think about him.

Franny is wearing her bathrobe. Daddy likes to let her run around in robe, no diaper, after her bath. Surprise, surprise, she often pees while in this state of undress. Tonight was no exception. ha ha ha

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

ha ha ha

Did Daddy get cleanup duty since he turned her loose in such a state?

Always Anti-fascist!

Boring weekend so far(apart from the book which is going well) I had plenty of time to read Natter, though.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I rule!

I bought a new computer for my sister, set it up, moved the hard drive from the old one to the new one, and copied over a bunch of their files. I couldn't set up their internet because they've got a wireless router and I have no idea how that works, but I'm fairly pleased with myself.

Now I'ma flop on the couch with a beer and watch three weeks' worth of Lost, Joan, and Stargate. Life is good.

Lee, I love that sweater (I have a silk version in red, adore). The cardigan on that dress looks weird with no one in it, but the dress is cool.

Aimée commutes (or will when she goes back to work) by train, no?

I heard somewhere the reason that my neighbourhood doesn't have rail is because Beverly Hills wouldn't let anyone go underneath them -- is that true?

This week's Numb3rs was about trains. Plate o shrimp. For people that watched it -- is Teresa macking on big bro? Is that what we saw?

I need to decide if I'm going to karaoke tonight. I don't sing. I really, adamantly, don't sing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think you should go, ita, as a fellow non-singer who enjoys not singing with people.
