kat, you let food sit so the tastes can combine. This is especially true of soups.
So with a lentil soup or a chicken soup then it needs to stew... to simmer in spices and with other veggies to combine the tastes.

I do love this. I do. I have been coveting it a long time. It may be too formal, but I'd pair it with a plain black t-shirt and my ballet shoes.
Black slinky dress w/ long skirt
Oh wow. Can I wear that?
Allyson, that skirt is very pretty. I think it would look great with a plain back shirt and flats.
As to the slinky dress -- yes, you can wear it. Because I have that exact dress in stretch velvet, and it is very good for short-ish curvy girls.
Allyson, i love that skirt. very pretty. based on last year's party i don't think it's too formal.
Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, tonight.

It is all about the frock coat.
You know that, though... Wait! That post was bait, wasn't it!
I love that skirt, Allyson. I would totally wear it, and we have the same body type.
I would wear it with a tightish scoopneck short-sleeved tee. Ballet flats are perfect with it, and hair up in a messy/casual/sexy updo.
