True, I didn't think of that.
And Sail - get out of my head.
That's great, Sail. Also, I just noticed your tag. Heh.
would it be considered gauche to post the Amazon link to one's cousin's book in here?
I wouldn't mind.
First births are by definition, a learning experience. I fully expected to be put through a lot of gross stuff, but a caesarian section my first time out? I felt like a massive failure even though there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. These people were so kind and helpful, I just wanted to lighten the sense of urgency a little, so even all doped up, I had to be the class clown.
I felt the exact same way. I pushed for an hour and a half and had no clue what they meant by "Plan B" unitl the nurse called in the c-section to the OR. I freaked out and starting crying. I felt like I had done everything wrong. Turned out, Em just positioned her head wrong so it's all her fault and I can use this later as leverage.

points at lack of second "e". hee hee hee
Which affiliate link?
Aimée, start from this page, find the book, and use that URL. Then the board gets some money when people buy it.
The link doesn't work for me. It goes to an Amazon page, but says something about a browser bug.
I'm getting a "browser bug" message when I click on the link, Aimee. Not sure why.
