I meant to say, Cass, that The Counterpane Fairy has been out of print for some 60+ years -- my copy was one that my mother found at a rummage sale many years ago, and I have no idea how many (or, more likely, how few) other copies even exist any more.I might have realized this once I googled but it might have taken longer than I care to admit. OTOH, I am going to the U2 concert tonight and I haven't figured out that I should be excited yet, so I am slow today. I should also be showered. Grumble... I sense coffee in my future as I still believe that coffee = happy.
