Good news! The website where my poem was originally posted is going to help in this fight. They don't currently have a lawyer, but she's going to see what she can do.
And! Yes! There's more! The president for the organization of the other website just sent me a very nice e-mail saying that as soon as she returns from Easter break she will make sure the poem is removed.
I misunderstood, I thought you meant the mayor was against the green line. It may very well not have been him that killed Ikea then.
See, my sources (Tom) told me there was a whole foods in Swampsott but no TJ's. But maybe I misremember.
Nope, just the reverse.
However, there is a Whole Foods going in down by Charles River Plaza, so I guess that will work. If only they'd announce an actual opening date.
vw, that's great news.
I'm bored. Really. Dave won't get up, and I don't feel like working. I just finished my last book, and I really don't feel like doing other things I should be doing...i.e. cleaning the house or (shudder) starting the process of cleaning out my closet and getting rid of about half my clothes.
Morning. I think baby and I are going to escape from construction and mebbe go to Target and Michaels.
vw, that is excellent news!
Hec, listen to Juliana. She broke her entire face, and is still exquisite.
Just talked with my creative writing prof and TA about the situation. My TA's response? "That's SO cool! You HAVE to write about that and get it published!"
Hee!
Oh, you should get some information from
the MARCH lover Kristin. I think Newsweek has a column--some kind of "My Turn" type of deal. She was making a submission to them a while back. She might be able to give you the information on their submission requirements and if there was any renumeration.
I'd write to the ISP of the site(s) using it without permission, though. I think you have a good chance of getting them TOSd, with little effort on your part. You could send the ISP a link to the page of the site that does have your permission to house your piece. Then link to the site(s) using it without permission. Then, explain that when you contacted the webmaster of the site who is using it without permission, you received a shitty response, and I would forward them a copy of said shitty response.
