Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Incidentally, the two-toed variety are apparently more irritable than the three-toed variety.

I'll take that into consideration the next time I consider harassing a sloth.

vw, I wanted to let you know, I am blaming your mom's former employers for this late snow we've been having! I hope she gets this new job today so we can have a spring!

Ooooo! I like that! Blame the former employer rather than poor, innocent mom. I think I might take on that attitude.

Mom had lunch with a former co-worker on Tuesday, and the co-worker told her she better get a job soon, 'cause she's just not gonna put up with snow in July. My mom is having fun with this whole snow thing, though, and since not much is bringing her joy and fun right now, I'll let her have her superstition.

Since Nora brought it up :), if mom could get some interview~ma and job~ma around 12:15 Eastern time today, all of the Somervillains would greatly appreciate it.

Of course! Now if she'd quit then my attitude might be reversed...

Nope. Mom's not a quitter...at least before she has something else lined up. She stuck this one out past the point where people were telling her to quit...it got that bad. Poor thing. I just hope that she finds a wonderful job that realizes what a wonderful asset they have. She's all excited about this job, because she could get her Master's degree at UMass Boston (they'll pay for tuition, etc. at a state school 'cause it's a state job). She told me, "We could go to the same school!" I gave her a dirty look and responded with, "What? So you could graduate before me?" I mean, I was kidding, but she really was kind of cute about the whole thing.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Ouch! Hec. Much ~ma for poor Emmet's nose and for you.

Jobma for vw's mom.

Perkins just left. Kara refused to give her a hug for a little bit, thinking that would mean she couldn't leave. It was such a nice visit I felt a little pouty too.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Jen, your sanity, not to mention your health, is worth the extra money.
I did basically this when I lived in DC - moved from somewhere cheap but inconvenient that I didn't really like to somewhere so much nicer and more convenient (though smaller), doubling my rent in the process. Best Thing I Ever Did. I was so much happier in the new place that I didn't begrudge the extra rent one bit, even when I was scraping by a bit at times. Go for it.

I will second, third, or whatever these statements because I moved into my own apartment, away from a slob, and I have never been happier with where I live.
