'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

(pictures people all over the US sitting at their computers doing this)

We are so predictable. I learned the alphabet when I was a child to communicate with deaf parents of my girlfriend. They have told me I am very easy to lip read, and this is much faster than my slow signing. They told me this as an adult of course. They were always praising my bad signing as a child.

Fast access quick for Raquel!

Health~ma to bitches in need.

I'm going to be taking ASL this summer at school. I'm really looking forward to it. At UMass Boston, you can take ASL as your language. And since I want to work with autistic kids, it's something I'll probably actually use. Of course, they don't offer a full two years of it, so to make up for that I have to take calculus, which is a strange way to make up for the last semester of a required language, but whatever. I was planning on taking calculus anyway.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Srgh, the South End, eh? Is it close to the T? Would it be easy to get to if, say, someone who worked on the Red line wanted to work before and after the appointment? Camille probably can't see me on a Saturday anyway on such short notice. Maybe I can get slip out of work tomorrow or Friday and then come back.

Also, I'm starting to suspect that the whole community here is in on an elaborate practical joke that involves hidden cameras and waiting for me to provide a payoff of an entertaining nervous breakdown.

I just want to walk out, blow everything off, go get my hair cut and treat myself to lunch.

I read the website and have a good idea where they are, so never mind my public transportation query. I'll try to remember to call them later and see if I can get in.

You have a couple of options as far as transportation...You could take the number 1 bus to Tremont street (and walk about 4 or 5 blocks) or you could take the redline to the orange line to Back Bay, then walk about 5 blocks. It's not terribly convenient, but it's not awful either. And call and see if she has a Saturday appointment. You might be surprised. I've gotten in pretty quickly there before and been really surprised.

eta: x-post. You want I should delete?

I can assure you that if this is the case, I am not aware of it at all. I'm sorry things are so stressful. Would planning a bridal shower help? ;) (Nope. I haven't forgotten.)

If I'm ducking out from work, the #1 might be a good option, so I'm glad you posted that!

back to the salt mines.

Hee, Cashmere!

Now all I have to do is find some cheap table cloths to cover up the filing cabinets so they look like end tables. I found some that I REALLY like at Linens and Things, but I can't spent $60 on table cloths.

And Friday night DX is coming to help me hang the Roman shades. So, by the time we leave for NY on Saturday, the room should look all beautiful!
