Apparently all men raised by single mothers are gay.
Ooopsie. When my single father who raised my gay brother and my single mother who raised my straight brother find out about this, boy, will their faces be red. Psychosocial parenting faux pas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh lordie...I finally clicked to the front page, and it looks like the World Weekly News over there! Headlines like "Roman Catholic "Celibate" Priesthood is Full of Whoremongers!" and "Enter the Antichrist Slideshow!"
I am cracking up.
This seems to be the position of a fair subset of columnists -- everybody would OBVIOUSLY be gay if they had a choice in the matter, so it's your job to impose heterosexuality on a reluctant substrate.
That theory tends to come from deeeeep within closets, imho.
"Enter the Antichrist Slideshow!"
"Win fabulous prizes!"
Worse, the Church itself is being more heavily influenced by the culture instead of the other way around.
Yes. Because if we were all behaving correctly, time would stand still. OH my Lord, what am I doing on this computer? It's a secular invention! Aaah!
Especially since the passage of Title IX by the feminists
That crazy feminist Congress.
On the other hand, a boy has an additional developmental task — to disidentify from his mother and identify with his father.
Cause women never need to separate their identities from their mothers'. BAHAHAHAHAAAAA...
So the idea there is, if only women didn't play sports they wouldn't be making those awful, ugly faces? He clearly hasn't seen me wake up in the morning, even though I'm almost certain that that's an activity sanctioned by the Church.
Oh, crap, except I'm a fornicator (well, or have been). I should probably be dead.
Oh, Cindy, I'm so sorry. Many brackets and prayers to your sil and family.
That absolutely maddening article on women in sports reminds me of a special speaker we once had at our church (our church which supported a Christian school, I might add...the Christian school that I went to). His entire message was on the evils of a Christian school - that because they are smaller, there are more opportunities for students to become active in school extracurriculars. According to him, this is bad because it takes them away from important church activities. And, obviously, if these same students went to a public school, there's no way they would make the basketball team, or whatever, and so they could be more active at church. It was crazy and made people furious.
We're not all that crazy.
We're not all that crazy.
Oh, you're that crazy. It just has more to do with curtains, and less with women in the church.
(Okay, kidding!)

Which is probably what's turning all the boys gay. IJS. It's all connected.

Ok...you have a point. We (or I) may be that crazy, but in less ... um ... something ways.
