Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{{Kristin}}}, just 'cause.

My first box of redecorating stuff should come today. I'm so excited!

Trust my rage

My tummy is still tender enough that I'm worried about how long the 'feeling much better' is going to last.

Anne, that sounds so miserable. I know stomach stuff can come and go so wuickly, so maybe you are better. How hard will it be to come home if you start to feel bad again? Maybe your body just needs some time to recuperate.

And the fun on my agenda today? Laundry :)

That's the fun that I'm doing right now. Laundry, vacuuming, and general picking up. Then my friend is coming back and we are putting up the border in the baby's room. (I'll post pictures once it's actually done.)

But, my first childbirth class is tonight! I'm pretty excited about that.

It's only a 15 minute commute, so not so hard. For some reason, though, I feel guiltier going in and leaving than I do not going in at all. Go figure.

I'm not ready to start doing real work yet. Someone entertain me.

Trust my rage

So, I just took this legal ethics exam on Saturday. Part of what was covered was what an attorney can/should say about a case, one of which includes not saying stuff that is against your client's interest. I'm listening to Brian Nichols' attorney tell CNN that he (the attorney) is "very lucky he [the attorney] wasn't in the courtroom".

For his attorney, this guy is doing very much in the way of defending his client. (Not that I'm defending Nichols, but his attorney should.)

eta: Sorry, Kristin, that probably wasn't very entertaining...

Does a little dance for Kristin

Realizes, again, what a terrible dancer I am

Takes out the viola instead and asks Kristin to join me in a little duet

Hee. No worries, Stephanie. It's way more entertaining than this pile of quizzes, let me tell you.

ETA: Oo! A dance and viola duet! (The rest of the thread may want to cover their ears if I'm actually going to play again.)

Ditto here. This could be fun!

What is even happening?

Stephanie, do you have a birthing partner taking the class with you?
