So, I just took this legal ethics exam on Saturday. Part of what was covered was what an attorney can/should say about a case, one of which includes not saying stuff that is against your client's interest. I'm listening to Brian Nichols' attorney tell CNN that he (the attorney) is "very lucky he [the attorney] wasn't in the courtroom".
For his attorney, this guy is doing very much in the way of defending his client. (Not that I'm defending Nichols, but his attorney should.)
eta: Sorry, Kristin, that probably wasn't very entertaining...
Does a little dance for Kristin
Realizes, again, what a terrible dancer I am
Takes out the viola instead and asks Kristin to join me in a little duet
Hee. No worries, Stephanie. It's way more entertaining than this pile of quizzes, let me tell you.
ETA: Oo! A dance and viola duet! (The rest of the thread may want to cover their ears if I'm actually going to play again.)
The rest of the thread may want to cover their ears if I'm actually going to play again.
Ditto here. This could be fun!
Stephanie, do you have a birthing partner taking the class with you?
The snot monster has descended on the baby. Feh.
I saw Bat Boy the Musical on Saturday and it was So. Freakin'. Funny. My stomach hurt I laughed so hard. Excellent production, considering it was all locals. The guy playing Bat Boy was a local actor who had been working in NYC, so he was head and shoulders above the rest of the cast. And he was HOT, too. Pale make up and pointy ears are obviously not enough to turn me off.
We also watched Troy last night. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Brad Pitt's body is unblemished perfection. Sometimes I forget just how pretty he actually is.
The apricot trees are in bloom. Stupid apricot trees. You'd think they'd know that the March warm spell is always a feint to get the apricot trees to open up their little buds so that the return of frost can freeze them up.
Not a bad thing for the front yard orchard, though, because apricots get to be way too much of a good thing and drop all over and make the sidewalks slimy.
Anyone want a cat and a dog? They're very cute, albeit VERY bratty today.
Mmmm, apricots hot off the tree.
{{Anne}} Oogy stomachs are such a pain to deal with, even as they get better. Because better is not really good, so often.
A little prayer for Chris (and a big one for me, that I don't have an anxiety attack) around 11:00 am (8:00 am, board time) wouldn't be rejected. Chris is going for his kindergarten screening. This is a semi X-post with Natter, where I've explained more. Glrurrrghl.
