Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I need an adult! I need an adult!

I feel like this all the time.

Also, hee!

OK, my system is digesting a lovely marinated flank steak dinner (w/spinach and sweet potato baked "fries"). I have butternut squash soup in the fridge and the end of a sourdough boule to bring into work tomorrow. We finished slow cooking the chicken/white wine stew, that's going on the back porch to wait for tomorrow's dinner. Feeling ready for the week. Amazing how the food plan in action makes me feel safer and more secure.

Tomorroe: going in early to start dealing with the work week that will eat me from my bottom.

ION, I *love* HGTV. My fave shows are "Generation: Renovation," "House Hunters, and "Designed to Sell." So fun. Maybe it's just me. I believe I rambled on about this last Sunday night too... I can't help it! I have the fever!

I want a house.

Those shows are addictive, aren't they? I love things like "Clean Sweep" and "How Clean is Your House" as well.

ION, my stomach feels all oogy. Really oogy.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Drive-by meara:

Dear God, is there anything more demoralizing than browsing personal ads?

I went to a women’s expo this today and there was actually a booth for matchmaker.com. I didn’t know what to think about that so I kept walking.

~ma for Susan’s family

Congrats to Aimée on the audition, to Joe for the new job & the cutest baby ever!

Congrats to Sean on the new nephew!

You know, I keep forgetting to say hi to StuntHusband as well. So hello and welcome!

Ditto. Welcome StuntHusband!

(sorry for the shortness and if I forgot anyone. I was trying to catch up on 350 posts before heading to bed. Night all!)

(exclamation points brought to you by the letter “P” and the number “3”)

Cold.

Snot.

Bleargh.

Theraflu.

BUT no work tomorrow.

What is a women's expo?

Why no work tomorrow, Erin? I'm jealous!!

OK, what's a good way to email someone, ask them out, and leave them a graceful out?

Jen - Mar 13, 2005 7:24:25 pm PST #6368 of 10001
love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

meara, you don't have to email me. You already know I'll go out with you.

I was at work for 17 hours today. That's just too many hours. But my paycheck, she will be mighty.

Spring Break. Thank jeebus, cause I am dripping snot faster than Pompeii dripped lava.

And "I would love to meet you sometime for a drink! I know your life is crazy right now -- do you have a break anytime soon?"

Sexy lady, you make me smile. :) It's the OTHER Virgo-I'm-wanting-to-make-out-with, besides you, though!

Obviously, she'd be SILLY to say no. But just in case she's that dumb, I want it to be easy.

Quit trash-talking me, meara!

This Virgo is netiher dumb or silly. I would totally go out with you --except for the not-gay, not DC thing.

meara - Mar 13, 2005 7:38:15 pm PST #6372 of 10001

Dear god, I forgot Erin was a Virgo too! I guess I should be more specific--the other girl-born-on-Aug-29-besides-Jen-and-me, that I want to make out with. :)

See? There are all these hot buffistas except they're not gay, and they're not in DC. USELESS!

I have no reason to believe she's crazy busy. (Though someone should totally use that line on me, that would work, often) I suppose I could make up something about her work schedule (she works retail, so it could, in theory, be that she's always working when I'm free, or something. But that sounds kinda lame...)
