Natter 32 Flavors and Then Some
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yes, I did! And they were very helpful, and the photo is gorgeous! And she offered to have us out, so I need to email her back, because that would probably be great for us to go look at it.
Thank you! And thank her!
We talked to a realtor today who doesn't think they allow straw bale in one of the two major locations we're looking at, so that's kind of a bummer. We'll have to make some calls and be sure about it, because I'm not all that convinced, we had to talk to her a good bit about what stawbale construction meant.
... Phenergan family. Is Dramamine the same type of med?
In a word, sweetling: Yes.
ION: Alibelle recognizes my needs. One Gulftream. One Alibelle.
It's all good.
You're welcome.
Sweet Jesus. Also, funny. The cable thing is mostly my bitterness. Not something that can be cleared up without actually signing a lease.
Yeah. Unrelatedly, many of those apartments were near me. And I'm still alive, so it must be true. But I imagine the cable thing will take care of itself.
Last one, dark and gorgeous, and newly remodeled, but on the higher price end: [link]
But if you're set for now, maybe I should move on to Lee. Lee? Requirements? Price range?
Huh. It's really weird for me to picture, because I grew up on what I alternately remember as 20 or 40 acres of land, and it didn't seem to be huge. Although it probably was, and was a wonderful place to grow up. It had a big yard, a sizable pond, a large garden plot, fruit trees, a fenced in horse corral and barn, and then acres and acres of forested land with mowed paths. A dream of a place to grow up. I could wander out back by the stream and eat blackberries and get lost, and still be within range of my mom's voice for lunch.
Is it any wonder that nothing else stacks up? But I might find some pretty forested land with mesas and canyon views or mountain views. If I went up to Page, I could even get water.
So anyway, in my head, I started looking at about 10 acres or so, but that's probably way too much for me to maintain, so 1-2 acres is probably enough for me.
And she offered to have us out, so I need to email her back, because that would probably be great for us to go look at it.
I'm glad the e-mail made it. I had to check because my mom has many wonderful talents, but computers have never really been one of them. BTW, the house is definitely worht seeing. The guy who built it is more of an artist than a builder (or he's both, I guess) and he put tons of really special touches on the doors, counters, ceiling, etc.
Thanks everyone. Dcp, I'm going to try the wrist thingies. I appreciate the suggestion.
Off to crawl into bed.

Allows cats; 2 bedrooms; penisula area; up to $1700 I guess, but less is much better.

Okay, that is gorgeous. I want a place like that.
You're welcome, Gus.
Night, Kristin!
That last one I found is perfect, isn't it, ita? Isn't it? Isn't it?
t /needs validation
It sounds fantastic, and it's really lovely from the photo. Yeah, those touches are part of the fun of building strawbale. I'm all excited, because I want to put in a little curved seating nook, which would be on the outside during the first phase, and in my library during the second. 'Cause I can! And built-ins for the headboard, bookshelves, breakfast nook, studio. Whoo!
The designing dream phase is the most fun, huh, before I start having to deal with realities like economics and physics.
eta: Hee, crosspost. Nonian's folks' place is beautiful. But so is the apartment linked! Though I am not ita, so my validation means nothing.
