Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Most of my stuff was imported from CDs. Is the iTunes default format the same as other mp3s?

The iTunes default format is not mp3 (but you can change the default to mp3) but rather Apple's proprietary AAC (I think that's what it is). That's the format that music downloaded from the iTunes store is, and also the format that only plays on an iPod.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Don't you mean a summer kitchen? Or is that a regionalism, perhaps?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

House of Cads!

Alternative show title for The Bachelorette?

Also there were some MP3s that didn't import into iTunes.

What was different about them? AFAIK all mp3s should be importable into iTunes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is the iTunes default format the same as other mp3s?

It's the stuff that you buy from their store that's proprietary.

MMJB is Musicmatch Jukebox.

Also there were some MP3s that didn't import into iTunes.

Really? Were they ripped from a protected CD or anything? I've never encountered that (though there were some MP3s that wouldn't play on my Clie). What was their source?

They might have been MP3s downloaded from Napster. It wa only 3 or 5.

If I only had a brain...

If I wore this hat I would bump into things. A lot.

Yes. It's the stuff that you buy from their store that's proprietary.

At least on the Mac, iTunes (when first installed) defaults to ripping songs in AAC format, but that's easily changed to mp3.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cashmere? I still haven't received the email.

I sent it to the profile addy. Maybe it's in your spam folder. Check and let me know. I can send another one.

I love that I'm learning how to say things like "Look! it's on a sale." or, "It's a bargain!" in Spanish.

¡Mira! Está de rebaja! and ¡Es una ganga! If you wanted to know.
