Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is the iTunes default format the same as other mp3s?

It's the stuff that you buy from their store that's proprietary.

MMJB is Musicmatch Jukebox.

Also there were some MP3s that didn't import into iTunes.

Really? Were they ripped from a protected CD or anything? I've never encountered that (though there were some MP3s that wouldn't play on my Clie). What was their source?

They might have been MP3s downloaded from Napster. It wa only 3 or 5.

If I only had a brain...

If I wore this hat I would bump into things. A lot.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yes. It's the stuff that you buy from their store that's proprietary.

At least on the Mac, iTunes (when first installed) defaults to ripping songs in AAC format, but that's easily changed to mp3.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cashmere? I still haven't received the email.

I sent it to the profile addy. Maybe it's in your spam folder. Check and let me know. I can send another one.

I love that I'm learning how to say things like "Look! it's on a sale." or, "It's a bargain!" in Spanish.

¡Mira! Está de rebaja! and ¡Es una ganga! If you wanted to know.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Kat and ita, thank you very much. I may have to make a stop before heading home tonight. It's probably wishful thinking to hope that I can find a good bargain on an iPod in a physical store, correct?

Yeah, Apple seems to have tight control over what stores can charge for their stuff. You might be able to find a small discount by buying from a non-Apple online store.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Just the boy-bits, right?
I was thinking more of just dipping him in latex...
Colin Farrell was adorable. I don't know how long he can work what he's working, but I'm glad he's worked out to work it.
t nods head

just being able to have all my music with me (in car, plane, gym, doctor's office) and being only a skosh away from any album or song
I love my iPod for this so much. And so much more now that I accesorized and got the adapter for my car and the speaker docks for home. I suddenly have a home stereo again and I adore it. Anything I want to hear, at my fingertips. And fiddle-free.

The train accident is wigging me and I have no idea why.

I just figured out why I actually post less in Natter than I think I do:

No takers for San Diego?
I can only think of things that are shot here. Pretending to be other places.

Except that brother detective thing on yonks and decades ago. There was a boat.

Simon and Simon was in San Diego.
That's the one.
Sorry, I'm just coming up with shows that are shot in San Diego, like Veronica Mars or Point Pleasant.
Or, you know, what Alibelle said.

By the time I get here, it's been said.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yep. Demand is way too high for any sales.
