Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Jeez. Just one more, and she would've been twice as evil as Kissinger.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I think Kissinger out-evils all comers. Part of his evil mystique is that he could fool so many people into thinking he was "smart" rather than evil. I think people confused him with Zbigniew Bryzynski.

Whereas, anybody who watched Condi Rice testify before the 9/11 Commission can tell you she's an obvious, pathetic prevaricator. Anybody who brings up the frelling Lusitania to justify her own cluelessness needs to be whipped naked with lasagna noodles.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The fact that more people voted for her than against her will probably be interpreted by the Bush administration as a "mandate."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wish one of the sites reporting would have an actual list of the thirteen. It's thirteen names, people!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think Kennedy said he wouldn't vote for her. Or maybe it was what's-his-name - you know, the Democratic nominee for President....

eta: I bet Boxer didn't vote for her either....

If Barbara Boxer had voted for her the earth would have flown off its axis.

Jeffords, Kennedy, Kerry are mentioned in the AP story that's everywhere. Boxer is a pretty safe bet. Still looking for the rest.

I hope Obama and Frank gave her the thumbs-down as well. I don't see either of them as having anything to gain by placating the current majority.

Which reminds me - I've been meaning to write Obama about all this Social Security nonsense that the administration's been spewing. I've never written a congressperson before? Any advice? I figure a nice snailmail letter is the best....
