I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Jeffords, Kennedy, Kerry are mentioned in the AP story that's everywhere. Boxer is a pretty safe bet. Still looking for the rest.

I hope Obama and Frank gave her the thumbs-down as well. I don't see either of them as having anything to gain by placating the current majority.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Which reminds me - I've been meaning to write Obama about all this Social Security nonsense that the administration's been spewing. I've never written a congressperson before? Any advice? I figure a nice snailmail letter is the best....

Dayton had better be in there, otherwise Ima get pissed.

I find that copyediting link kind of inspiring, rather than funny. There's probably something wrong with that, right?

No chance of my senators being among the 13. Both are Republicans.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'd like to think Hillary voted against, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I have a plan.

I missed the topic of this particular vote. Are you talking about the vote confirming her as Sec. of State?

'Cause if so, as far as I know, only Kerry and Boxer voted against her.

ION; It doesn't look like I got the job. But it would be nice to know one way or the other. So if somebody could just fukin call me and let me know, I can get on with my life.
