HMOG, Steph. I remember that visit. I was totally still shell-shocked, in retrospect. And it still smelled downtown. Sigh.
Yeah, as I flew into LaGuardia, the flight path came in directly over the WTC site, and I was on the correct side of the plane to get a straight-on view directly down. It was still smoking, I remember that. And I remember the smell.
Ramen is good because it is full of starch, salt and fat, and there's no bad there. Unless you expect food to actually be healthy, but you can't get healthy for $.19.
Nice enough, but very bland and naive
This is also totally not a surprise.
It would be like a really ugly The Amazing Race
Not ugly, just, uh, high energy.
That's pretty funny.
It is, isn't it? But I know people who have done this.
Of course, with the internet, it's so much easier to use a card that's not there. Curses.
Shhh. Let's not plant that seed....
I LOVE high heels. I wear them almost every day. Wedge heels, kitten heels, stacked heels, stilettos, you name it, I'll wear it. Why do I torture myself so? Because I like the way they look, and heels allow me to at least approach average height. I dislike looking up at people.
Kat called me ugly - hmmph.
Oh god - that's right re: 9/11. That whole year was just a bizarro year after that. stupid trauma.
How would you judge a boss off?
How would you judge a boss off?
Look at you - you're totally into the concept.
It would be easy -- who was able to impose their will upon the group the most.
I am also very competitive.
Maria, I'm not short and yet I wear heels most every day. My feet are actually happier in them and I move more gracefully than when I'm in flatter shoes.
I want to watch the boss-off!!
I
can judge a boss off. Let's go.
I've managed to have every meeting I had today cancelled, except the online training, which I only listened to with one ear.
Upshot? I'm going to meet my user documentation deadline after all.
