Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My new work strategy of making my boss make all decisions is working out. He made a call on something yesterday and then got told by other administrators that it was the wrong thing to do. Of course, at the time, they didn't know that he had instructed me to do it that way. So, even though I have to do the work to now fix it (write a memo), it's not my fault.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I used to have crippling pain, the particularly insidious kind that comes on very quickly and if you don't hit it with painkillers before it reach full-strength you're just doomed, because once it has you securely in its grip it laughs at anything less than prescription-strength naprosyn.

Thank god for the drugs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, JZ, that sounds great about your friend. Way to go, boundary-moving-guy!

And good for you, msbelle. "Credit" should go where it's due.

I have been remarkably efficient (for me) this morning. But it all makes me realize that I need to become way more disciplined really soon, or I'm going to be SCREWED.

Art Crawl!!!

Question about the OC specifically Sandy's rationale for not telling Kirsten about Rebecca -- was he being over cautious -- or could Kirsten have been considered some sort of conspirator if she knew that Rebecca was there and didn't turn her in ?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

OC- The impression that I got was that his reasoning was that Kirsten could be considered an accomplice, but I feel like that, deep down, it was more an excuse than a reason. Last night pissed me off .

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

God. For some reason I thought he died a long time ago....

Sumi, I do think Kirsten could have been considered some kind of conspirator or accessory or something , but I think that was Sandy's bullshit excuse anyway. Of course, all of my legal knowledge comes from Law and Order, so take that with a grain of salt.

Up with the sun

Sumi, I personally think that Sandy just didn't want to tell Kirsten about Rebecca and have that conversation with her. While I suppose Kirsten could have been considered an accessory, I think that's mostly just Sandy's justification for a decision he made for emotional reasons.

If that makes sense.
