What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Amazon stopped doing Share the Love. That sucks.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk. It's 9 in the morning, and I've already taught one class. (Not terribly well, but nothing went horribly wrong, either.) Now I've got half an hour until my next class, which is too long a time to just hang around, but too short a time to actually do anything.

I've tried to jump-start my brain with massive amounts of caffeine. I'm not sure it worked.

Up with the sun

Hil, i'm sure your students were also mostly asleep, if that helps.

Timelies. I am wearing boots with a three-inch heel today, and keep getting this gleeful sense of being! tall! (I'm 5'5", so even in the boots I'm not a giantess exactly.)

Our wings are not tired.

Wow LJ you sure look Amazonian today.

Our wings are not tired.

Alias was not satisfying for me last night. Perhaps I was too tired to enjoy, but I turned it on expecting fun clothes and wigs and things that go boom. I will end up rewatching it tonight with DH. Perhaps knowing that Alias meets the suburbs is on tap will help.

Have a wonderful vacation Kat and Lori!

I just realized. There are now four Starbucks in university-owned buildings on my campus, and two more in buildings that aren't owned by the university but still within the general campus area. From where I am right now, I can walk two blocks in pretty much any direction and hit a Starbucks.

This seems like, perhaps, a bit much.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Hil, i'm sure your students were also mostly asleep, if that helps.

I once TA'd an 8:00 class, and I'll vouch for that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMTFG, I guess the show last night wasn't enough, because Katie Couric is doing a "special" hour on teen sex again now. Could it be that her girls are now high school age? ALSO, did you know that kids in high school sometimes have sex?

Now tagless for your comfort.

The official saturation point is having two Starbucks across the street from each other.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Border's Book in Woodbury, MN has a Starbucks with two service counters. By my accounting, that is a Starbux inside a Starbux. They win.
