I just realized. There are now four Starbucks in university-owned buildings on my campus, and two more in buildings that aren't owned by the university but still within the general campus area. From where I am right now, I can walk two blocks in pretty much any direction and hit a Starbucks.

There is a place in my neighborhood where there is a stand-alone Starbucks next door to a shopping strip including a Barnes & Noble that has a Starbucks in it, both of which are across the street from a supermarket with a (non-Starbucks, but still) coffee bar in it.

That is a well-caffeinated location.

Drawback to working at home is thinking that I can do house stuff at the same time as work stuff. I put a whole dozen eggs on to boil then came into my office to check mail, etc. It was only after I heard them exploding that I remembered. Stinky. Yesterday I ran into a guy on the train who was about seven feet tall. I very rarely run into someone significantly taller than me - it maybe happens once a year. When it does happen, it reminds me of when I was a child, when all adults were taller than me....
