Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee!

Whoa, that was to Raq, but I was just about to add that someone at my bus stop the other day was wearing a Blue Sun shirt when I looked up and saw Kevin's post.

Compassionately intolerant

We should do it over 4th of July - to commingle with the re-enactors.

God save me. I walked around Antietam during an reenactment once for a bf's birthday. Standing about 10 feet away from a soldier as he 'shot' another. I nearly blacked out.

Now, I'm the one you want at a car wreck scene. Excellent in emergencies...trauma is no problem...but that place? Gave me the super-creeps.

Punishingly Intricate

I was in Liverpool city center yesterday, and somebody walked past me in a Blue Sun tshirt.

oh! That reminds me, I walked by a girl in a Blue Sun t-shirt in my hotel in Vegas the other day. I couldn't tell if she was there as just a tourist or part of the rollerderby conference I was at or what though.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

People would stop and listen to our guide (my DH)

this happens to my dad a lot. He'll be showing grand kids around a museum or an old fort and he'll start to gather a crowd.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

People would stop and listen to our guide (my DH)

I guided a whole bunch of folks through Old Sturbridge Village when I was about 8 or 9. I loved that place.

Without fail, every time he mentioned what Jubal Early's units were doing he added, "Does that seem right to you?"

Sadly, no one got it.

I am now both sad and very, very happy. Good DH.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I just got a very "Angel in the art museum" vibe. Art imitates life imitates art imitates life...

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

made of win!

Una, that's the second time I've read you writing that. Did I miss a definition somewhere? It sounds like something with a good story behind it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The phrase "made of win"? I think it's just one of those...things. I forget where I picked it up, but I like it.

Oh, it was you P-C? I wondered if it had a Buffista origin like the use of 'wrod' or a child comment or something like that.
