I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

I have to say that as pretty as it is in High Def, they aren't showing it widescreen. What's the point in showing something in High Def if they are going to butcher it?

Yes, they are. It's widescreen, just like the DVDs. It sounds like a configuration problem on your end.

Well that's good to hear. If I could find my tv remote I could maybe solve the problem.

Yeah! Tim's house!

I know that Kaylee is okay but every time I watch her get shot I get all tense, and right before she walks in I want to yell at her or Mal or someone. It's like watching Bayliss pick up the phone.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

In case anyone (else) didn't know, Serenity Collector's Edition is available for pre-order at Amazon. I remembered to use the Buffistas link!

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

It'd be a long drive for me, but I'm totally up for the party at Tim's!

Did anyone watch "Sands of Oblivion" with Adam and Morena on the sci-fi channel last night? Really, really bad. I might need to reasses my loyalty to my crew. (Morena, however? still absolutely gorgeous.)

Art Crawl!!!

Are you kidding?

We watched and posted it over in Boxed Set!

I thought it was fun. . . and loads more entertaining that Morena's heart transplant show.

From the Zap2it blog on the Whedon panel at Comicon:

A young boy got up to the microphone and really won everyone over. He became a fan because his dad wanted him to watch Firefly. Initially reluctant because his father usually has "lame taste," five minutes into it and he was hooked. His question: "What was going through your mind when you came up with the idea? Were you watching Star Wars and said, wow, I wonder what would happen if Clint Eastwood was in this?'" Joss responded, "No, but from now on yes."

Tim's! Totally worth a plane ticket.

I long ago gave up on being a total crew fanatic (some of Sean Maher's stuff just makes me all @@). Kind of curious about AB's Chuck, though.
