Doesn't winter seem more like archiving season?

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

That was Ace Underhill you're thinking of. I really don't get the point of these polls. It's not about the best tv shows, it's about which show has the most fanatical fan base.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Ace Underhill!

I wonder how he's doing.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Last I heard of Ace he was helping save the Ariel ambulance. So he hasn't quite got the series back on the air yet, but he does have the shell one of one of the props. So he's nearly there..

What is even happening?

I don't suppose ayceofspades is any relation to Ace Underhill.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hello my fellow Browncoats.

So a buddy linked me to this simple yet addictive game. It has nothing to do with Firefly. Except....

OK, start a game, and check out the ship that delivers you to Mars.

Enjoy. [link]

Booster Entertainment:

A copy of their bankruptcy petition: [link]

They think they owe $361123 to customers. Assets, two faxes. Some actors are listed as owed. Only one of the owners signed it.

I know this is a publicly available document, but I have to say I don't think you're putting yourself in the best position by making the full names and home addresses of 500+ fans so readily available. Kind of smacks of a huge privacy violation, IMO.

Hmm. Yeah, you have a point. I'll see if I can find something which will let me edit the PDF to remove sections. It's available from the courts website, though, so possibly not much of a useful exercise.

Yeah, I know. But it feels like it's one thing for involved parties to go through the trouble of hunting down the information and another for random bystanders like me to have access to so much personal information by clicking on a link here or at BE Victims.

I'm HUGE into guarding my privacy, though, when it comes to personal details creeping online. I often have my guard up.

I actually agree. A few years ago I had somebody from online world turn up at my house. They ran around in the garden outside. It was... surreal.

That said, though, I figure the doc is going to be useful to people at that group. I'll pull it from the site after a few days, I think, and set it so archive.org and Google can't get to it.

There's some odd shit in that document. For a start, you can see how much all the Whedonverse actors get paid as it's in the accounts. Bruce Campbell is well cheap!
