Suburban housewife? Gina Torres?????
*brain explodes*
Ohhh...fighting crime. Okay then. Very good.

You didn't see her in 24 last year, did you?
Or in The Guardian ...
Suburban housewife? Gina Torres?????
Having seen her in 24, I'm actually more boggled at the idea of Zoe teamed up with Charlotte from SitC, but that may just be me.
Thanks Nutty.
I went to a high school with a guy named Rob Estes. Not the same one, of course, but still it always gives me pause.
(hanging head) I'm actually rather TV-challenged...
Ooh! That's all I have, but that's just generally my response to Gina Torres on my teevee!
So I watched Trash (YoSafBridge. heee!) the other day, and I have a dumb question.
When they break into the estate, they're supposed to look like they fit in with the hired help, right? And after they throw the laser gun in the trash, they don't have any contraband on them (well, besides YoSafBridge). So why do they run from the Feds? I'd assume the feds just had an alarm go off and flew out there--it doesn't seem like the guy pushing the button on his ring would actually give the cops any information. So they shouldn't have a clue who to chase till they find the guy laid out in his parlour, wake him up, and ask him who knocked him out. Plenty of time for Mal & YSB to mosey off the premises.
I know, story less interesting without chase scene....it still bugs me!
I was greeted with a "Firefly just ENDS!" today at a one year old's birthday party. I'd given the DVDs to her parents when she was born and they only now had time to watch (and apparently did it marathon-style. ) I reassured him there was a movie, but he was just so disappointed that I couldn't magically conjure up more series. It was funny.
It was funny.
In a sad kind of way...
