A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Oh, and Eugene won! go team us!

Does that make your team Browncoat Ducks?

Go Ducks! Still giddy over the football team's win this weekend.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Rolling in Kittens

snerk.

And yeah Ducks! I think we have enough Browncoats here to play tennis. Doubles even.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Does that make your team Browncoat Ducks?

Well, we have a lot of Beavers, too.

My condolences.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Here's a question. I see many posts online from people saying fans have to keep faith a Firefly type project will reappear again. Is that a requirement as a fan, or is that what defines the term Browncoat?

I'd say I don't see how faith and Firefly go together, but I suppose that's what the show was about.

If we're really lucky, they'll do it in that order...

Not big on faith, myself, of any kind, so I don't see it being necessary. Mind you, I've never called myself a browncoat, so maybe it *is* a good definition.

So, did anyone see the HD episode yet? I'm :ahem: acquiring it, though not having an HD TV, nor, it would seem, a PC that's fast enough to show the thing anyway (have I reached *that* point of the PC cycle already?), I doubt that I'll get a chance to watch it for a long while.

I identify as a Browncoat and I have no faith that the verse will continue except in comics.

And books, Tamara. Possibly badly written books. (If they let me do one).

I suppose I'm just having an identity crisis, as I'd group myself in as a Browncoat as, well, I've done the socialising bit. But I don't think there will be another movie (uhm, usually). But it sometimes feels like I'm a bad fan for sayin' it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I consider myself a Browncoat and would be first in line for any new movie or TV show continuing the 'Verse but I don't see either as very likely.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Here's a question. I see many posts online from people saying fans have to keep faith a Firefly type project will reappear again. Is that a requirement as a fan, or is that what defines the term Browncoat?

I'd say it's not so much faith that there WILL be another FF/S 'verse project, but the hope of one.

But that's not right either, because even a passive fan can hope for more.

I'd say that a Browncoat is an active fan, the minimum being someone who takes even the small initiative to talk online, or IRL, about FF/S.

I put together an old page defining "browncoat", and it seems kinda outdated now that we've done fighting for the movie and won that battle.

I'm an old Browncoat, a retired veteran. I'm letting the new recruits do their thing. More power to them, but I'm just tired.
