I just found out that the guy who played young Simon Tam was the star of High School Musical. I thought he looked familiar!
I noticed one of the
gay
kids from VM was one of the co-stars in that musical. But I thought I was the only buffista to have seen it.
Yep, and funnily enough, he was totally
gay
there too.
I thought Simon was one of the characters who benefited most from actually viewing the episodes in order. I find his little mini-arc kind of touching.
Plus, he's very pretty.
I love Simon. I admit I got all chocked up when he said "light it" at the end of "Safe," holding River in his arms. I didn't actually mind getting to see "Safe" out of order and ahead of the schedule. Even though it's not a particularly witty episode, it got me invested in the plight of Simon and River thoroughly.

Heh. I told my wife the same thing. Let's face it, he was either
gay
or that was a very disturbing (in a hodgeberry way) relationship with his sister. Or maybe both.
Considering that they've apparently been playing romantic leads for years, I'm going for both.
Huh. You know, I didn't really notice how pretty to look at Simon is. I may have to rewatch. You know, for research purposes.
I noticed, but may have to rewatch anyway. You know, for solidarity. No other reason.
I love my captain, but really, I think Simon most benefits from shirtlessness. We may all have to watch both again to make sure, though.

The way you guys sacrifice yourselves for the sake of research is just inspiring. I shall have to join in the sacrifice and do some more re-viewing, just in case my appreciation has been insufficient (wouldn't have thought it possible).
