Shooting script has Mal saying to Simon something about getting "innocked" before going down, I can't remember if it's in the movie or not. I think not, because I wondered about that scene too.
It's in the movie. Mal says it as they're in the corner by the engine room. It's a soft and quickly spoken line and very hard to pick up on, though.
ita, I don't remember the dialog over the innock scene... exactly... just the argument about taking River on the job. I'm at work :( and have not the script, nor the memory. Obviously, I haven't seen the movie enough times!
Saw it last night.
My jaw is still on the floor.
Seriously. I've had three people ask to borrow my set in the last 24 hours.
Three of the people we saw "Serenity" with last night -- none of whom had really seen the show -- all wanted to watch the DVDs ASAP.
Re: Joss' grocery list.
“I have read Joss’s grocery list 148 times and I can tell you it’s smarter, funnier, and more compelling than anything currently on TV."
Sadly, this would probably be true these days...
I had lent my DVD's to a co-worker last week so she could watch before seeing the movie. It was on my desk with a note this morning.

SHINY!
It's so true, it hurts!
It's still a few more days until it's released here in the UK. I am looking forward to seeing it again.
I made sure to tell my sister that it starts this week - having hooked her on it by giving her the DVD set for Christmas, and she's looking forward to seeing it. Though I had to fob her off on the whole "Does anyone die in it" issue. Which, as I think Kalshane posted previously, makes you feel kinda mean, but it needs to be done.
While I'm off galivanting in San Francisco, DH went to see Serenity today by himself. He called to tell me, "It was a great movie! But--WAH!"
Guess which character he's always identified with?
