I guess I should ammend that by saying that I don't share in the rosy glow of some of the fans being exploited for this marketing push. The movie, to me, just drives home the fact that we got screwed out of some really good tv.
I suppose I should just be happy with the movie and eat my sour grapes in peace.
Andi and I are watching The Train Job with Joss and Tim commentary.

The screwing stole my FF joy. I'd really like Joss to make me a brand new world. /where's my pony
Aye caramba, we've got a movie coming and a comic book too, but it's nothing but bitterness here.
I really don't get the burbling pit of negativity. Sucks they cancelled the series, but I'm thrilled to have the movie (and the comic for that matter).
I don't think the fans were exploited. I don't see that at all. What exactly do you expect from a marketing plan anyway?
Sorry, Hec. My glass, she is half empty. That and they closed my comic store and I haven't found a new one yet to buy the comics.

I could pick up both issues for you. Would you like a Mal cover and a Kaylee cover?

That's very sweet and takes away a little of the bitter. Thank you.
Hey, Hec, as long as you're going to the comic store anyway, can you pick me up a copy of #2, too, if there's an extra? It sold out fast around here.
I'm not bitter, I just lost the joy. It's the completist in me that will prompt me to see the movie.

You got it. They had a bunch.

Okay, joyless.
