Speaking of spending extra time in the Firefly 'verse, I finally tracked down a bunch of issue #2 of the comic. I had a choice between the Book, Kaylee and Zoe covers and opted for Zoe, though I thought the Kaylee actually looked better.
It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

I guess I should ammend that by saying that I don't share in the rosy glow of some of the fans being exploited for this marketing push. The movie, to me, just drives home the fact that we got screwed out of some really good tv.
I suppose I should just be happy with the movie and eat my sour grapes in peace.

Aye caramba, we've got a movie coming and a comic book too, but it's nothing but bitterness here.
I really don't get the burbling pit of negativity. Sucks they cancelled the series, but I'm thrilled to have the movie (and the comic for that matter).
I don't think the fans were exploited. I don't see that at all. What exactly do you expect from a marketing plan anyway?
