"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Well, the plan was if I drove in, to drive home that night, otherwise take the train in and crash with someone.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

From the North, it would be 95 to 93, but then you need to get off 93 before the Big Dig (over by North Station), and I'm not 100% sure the exact route after that (driving, at least - I don't know all the one way streets by memory).

You can also do 95 to Route 1 in the Danvers area, and then get onto Storrow Drive after you get into Boston (you'd cross the Tobin bridge that route), but, again, I'm not exactly sure where you'd go from there. There is an off-ramp right near the common, but I don't know if you get that from the North, and what the sign would say.

I'm probably just confusing the issue, aren't I?

I could actually get into the city ok, I think. I just wanted Bill there as navigator when I got into town. I got the whole day after off, though, so I'm more inclined to train it in.

Art Crawl!!!

So, am I the only Chicago area buffista going to the Chicago preview?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

We parked under the Common, a short walk from the theatre, and paid $10; after a certain hour (6, maybe?), it's a flat $10 fee until 8 or 10am the next day.

That's a bargain compaired to here. I parked in the garage at the theatre for the Chicago screening and it cost me $26. Ouch.

Wow- we only paid 8 bucks for the lot across from the theater in Chicago last week. We lucked out.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I tried getting tickets, but alas. I was too late.

Yeah, as I was walking to the restaraunt for dinner before the screening I saw all kinds of much cheaper parking lots. Was not amused.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I spent $3.50 for a train ride there and back.

I almost never drive into downtown Chicago.

I didn't have much choice, being in the far north suburbs and all that. I mean, I suppose I could have researched an EL stop to park at and then figured out how to use the EL to get to the theatre, but really, it was easier to just plug the theatre address into Mapquest.
