Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Oh, and Kiba? I will be at Dragon*Con again this year. Can't help cut the cost by sharing a room, unfortunately, because I've been going and rooming with the same people for about five years, but I hope to see you there!
Along with all other Buffistas attending, of course.
shrift, I may have a full room, yay. (Still need to get together with Tamara on that.) So you are totally off the hook there. But I am VERY much looking forward to seeing you. I hear you're hot.
...watched the Objects in Space commentary. Wow. Just wow. I like River now. Maybe love. Before I found her obnoxious, because I didn't get her. Now, I get her.
Here's the crazy thing - since Tuesday I've watched all of the episodes in order, with commentary on those that had it, and only finished a few hours ago. And I want to start all over again (but without commentary this time).
I also just watched the How It Was special feature. That thing makes me cry. Especially, as is to be expected, the part about the fans. To know that we did that - that those people felt good about what they were doing because of us - well it's not curing a terrible disease, it's not saving the world, but it's still a nice thing to have done.
ETA: Have I mentioned that my car is named Serenity? Well, she is. (Her full name is Serenity the Black Pearl.)
. If you happen to have extra money, why not spend some of it on something that's important to you?
True enough. t looks nervously at Fabric Stash That Ate Sheboygan
Kiba, I am a slacker but, insent.
Tamara, 2 backatcha.
Whee Firefly!
Serenity the Black Pearl
Love that.
Has anyone in LA seen the trailer attached to Hitchhiker's anywhere?
I must have called at least a dozen theatres to no avail. Even Joss posted at the Serenity board that he saw HH but, alas, no trailer.
I saw the FF trailer before Hitchhiker's last night, at the Southpoint Cinemas in Durham, NC. It was great. And very, very big. We'd gotten in, to a sold out show, just as the trailers were coming on, so I saw it from the second row.
There was a lot of cheering in the audience, and folks clapped when it was done.
Calli, that is great news for me as that is exactly where I plan to see HG2G. Yay!
